Be Different Logo Be Different Logo

pixel8 designed and developed the logo for Be Different,  a Los Angeles based freelance video editing consultant. The unique challenge for this project was to create a logo mark that did not specifically reference anything video related, as the client will be expanding the scope of the company’s directive with growth.

The direction we took was to literally play off of the company’s name. The first step was to develop a mark that reflects the fact that Be Different is an alternative to other companies within this field that stands above the rest. The second was to play with the typography by giving more weight to the word “Different”.
