“The Greene Affair 2010” Flier

Having successfully designed the collateral material for the 2009 “The Greene Affair” fund raising event, we are pixel8 was up to the task again in 2010. The design consists of 100% custom typography work as well as custom textures for the background elements which produced a bold and sophisticated piece used for postcards and posters.

“Hiding So Long” CD Cover

Long time friend of the studio, singer-songwriter Simon Spire, requested a CD cover design for the promotional release of his single, “Hiding So Long”. We designed the entire package in a distressed, grungy motif, with decorative flairs, that would match both his musical style, as well as his other marketing materials.

Erik’s eye for design has never failed to produce an excellent result in the years that I have worked with him. The quality of his artwork for the release of my CD single, Hiding So Long, far exceeded my expectations for the design, and managed to enhance the theme and energy of the song in a way that was eye-catching and highly effective. As always, this was done with the usual professionalism and sensitivity to the artist’s needs that I have come to know as hallmarks of Erik’s work.

pixel8 designed a sexy, elegant, double-sided flier for Brooklyn’s Greene Hill School’s Spring 2009 fund raising event entitled, “The Greene Affair”. The flier was printed on 100 lb. hi gloss paper to bring out the lighting effects used as background textures.
