You can definitely take this simple tutorial and expand upon it even further (using :focus, etc.) to enhance the user’s experience, all the while leveraging the power of CSS3. Thanks for sharing that.

Great article! Using CSS3 is definitely a time-saver.

One thing that I recommend is adding a :focus attribute to the input fields. Have it change the gradient to a lighter shade or something like when the user clicks to input something. That way the user has feedback on what they’re doing with the site. Helps them avoid confusion and give you the email address you want.

Anyways, that’s my two-bits.
