Holidays do bring out Happy Feet

by Erik Ford with 3 comments.

As designers, we often look for inspiration in other designer’s work. While this is true for me as well, a great source of my inspiration comes from my son, Connor. A day doesn’t go by without me watching this clip from Winter 2006 (when “Happy Feet” was still all the rage with the young ones) and he does his best Mumbles impersonation with reckless abandon. If you are starting to feel the effects of the “holidaze”, press play and feel the smile appear on your face.

How can I not be inspired? And yes, in the background, that is mom cheering on the performance as only she can.

    @Daniel,
    Congratulação. I wish I could take the credit for what you see here but that honor truly belongs to his mother. Parenting is not easy, but it is the most rewarding and fulfilling thing I’ve done in my entire life. Best of luck to you and your family as well.

    “press play and feel the smile appear on your face.” the smile really happened.

    You have an adorable kid. I’m gonna be a dad in two months. The anxiety is part of my days…but watching videos like this one, makes me more confortable.

    I wish the best to you, your family and pixel8 ;)

    Sorry for any typos, I’m from Brazil and english is not my best.
