As a designer, I often like to add textures to my work when the project calls for it. Take a look around. You are hard pressed not to notice the endless applications textures have in both print and web design. Open up your favorite magazine or browse any of your adored CSS galleries to find evidence of what I am talking about. From grungy to sleek, earthy to fabrics, it is prudent for you to have an arsenal of textures at your fingertips.
Today we are releasing a set of seamless paper textures, in six different color flavors, for you to download and use immediately in your next website design project.
The zip archive has everything you need from individual jpg images to a Photoshop Pattern set containing all six patterns. Play with the demo and switch between the 6 different textures.
What you get in the download
- one (1) jpg image – Purple
- one (1) jpg image – Red
- one (1) jpg image – Orange
- one (1) jpg image – Blue
- one (1) jpg image – Brown
- one (1) jpg image – Green
- 1 Photoshop Pattern set containing all six colors
You can use these openly and freely as well as redistribute as long as there is a credit and link back to this post. Please do not directly link to the download file.

@Lindsay,
We are glad you like the site and the freebies! We hope to add more stuff from our arsenal as soon as time permits. I would love to see what you come up with using these textures.
I just found your website today searching for free web icons, and I am very glad that I did. Your journal entries are helpful and your free items, including these papers, are already making my life easier. Thank you much and I look forward to reading more!

Thanks, Lou.
I am a huge fan of both minimalism and textures. When I made these, I was playing around with the idea of combining both. I hope you find these useful and thanks as well for reading my guest post on Design Informer. It was a lot of fun and I hope to do more of it in the future.
Very nice find. This is just what I’ve been searching for to use on a client site.
Serendipity.
Very nice! I love simple textures and these will be very useful.
