A studio is born.
How did We Are Pixel8 start, you ask? Well, lads & lasses, it all began back in the day when two East Coast college friends went on to become music executives. After piling up over 30+ years of experience in promotion, marketing and design, Erik Ford and David Belgrave combined their somewhat geeky talents, in the Spring of 2009, into one powerhouse studio.
Yet, something was missing. Enter the Southern girl turned West Coast girl, Jeanette Fernandez, who also hailed from the music business with a background in copywriting and her own content company, Six 11 Ink. The three had known each other for years and the trifecta was finally complete. What began in Los Angeles has since moved to San Antonio, with Erik overseeing the doodles, David doing the marketing and Jeanette writing it all down.
